As the season is quickly approaching, I would like to hear what everyone's thoughts are on their own teams chances for the upcoming season.

I for one am very excited as we gain our Lefty again for his final year of eligibilty. We gained a very good freshman class that will keep us in every competition for years to come. Plus, we return a few members from last year who did very well.

Having said this, I really feel like our team will be in the Top 10 in rankings for the first time ever. Many will doubt my thoughts on this, but I was the only one who predicted a trip to nationals for my team two years ago also.

What are everyone else's thoughts on their own team?

RIT will be a bit interesting to see this year while losing 3 starters (Gerhart, Kierpiec, Scuderi) and having to rely on the younger talent to really step up.

They should still have a solid 3 man core, which I firmly believe is enough to get a team to Nationals - in Herrman, Sigeti, and Keegan. Hopefully they will regain Scuderi around the Christmas tournaments, as he has chosen to take a minimum of an RIT quarter off to focus more on his studies during the "Tier 2 Season"...

Time will tell, but I would reserve a spot in the 12-15 range for RIT before December 25th.

I know I'm biased, but I am extremely confident that UW-Whitewater will have a great season. We only lost one senior after finishing last year very strong.

A heartbreaking end to sectionals is making us that much more determined to make this season special.

Not everybody knows that we had 3 tournament wins erased last year due to an eligibility issue, and that dropped us from 17th to 30something in the rankings.

But enough about the past. UWW has a new coach, more experience and we feel like more of a family than we ever have in the past.

I wont put out numbers on what I can see UWW accomplishing this year. But I'm looking forward to a great season with some exciting moments.

My UWW brothers and I wish a great year to everyone and we hope to get the honor to compete against all of you at some point this season!

I think Robert Morris IL will be the #1 ranked team.

I like the Mckendree boys chances... They didnt lose much last year and I think them along with their coach in his third season at the helm have learned alot and know what it takes to compete. With the talent and coaching they have, I see them being a national contender every year now. good luck to all! hope to see some of ya around!

Forget your drop in the rankings, maybe you should mention all the scholarship money you in essence stole from the teams that actually use eligible players.
