The USBC Intercollegiate Singles Championships (ISC) are now underway at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln, NE. There are 24 men and 16 women participating in this event. They advanced to the ISC through the USBC Singles Qualifiers held on March 9 at the four sectional sites (Allentown, PA, Smyrna, TN, Fairview Heights, IL and Euless, TX).

The format includes six (6) qualifying games followed by three games (total pins) match-play. The top 8 men after qualifying will receive first round byes. The top 4 women receive two round byes, while the next 4 women receive one round byes.
The finals will be taped Saturday, April 21 for airing on CBS Sports Network on May 4 (women's finals) and May 11 (men's finals). Each show starts at 10 pm Eastern Standard Time.

The ISC Match Play will be starting at 2 PM EST. The top 8 men and top 8 women have received byes and are not competing in the first round.
